What is a cobbler cake?
Basically this recipe has all the components to be a cobbler, but it’s more in a cake-ish like form! Trust me, you are going to love it!

- Large mixing bowl
- whisk or mixing spoon- I like using a danish dough hook like this because it does the job of both a whisk and mixing spoon!
- Casserole dish
Ingredients
- Self-rising flour- if you don’t have self rising flour don’t panic just make it at home! You can find my tutorial for it here!
- Sugar
- Milk
- Berries- you can use fresh or frozen or whatever you have.
The Recipe for Blueberry cobbler cake
Ingredients
- 1 cup Self-rising flour
- 1 cup Sugar + 1/4 cup for sprinkling
- 1 cup milk
- 4 Tablespoons of melted butter
- 1 cup blueberries (or any berries, mixed or not)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350.
In a large bowl, add the self-rising flour
Then the sugar
Then the milk
And the melted butter
Mix together to form a batter
Pour batter into a well buttered casserole dish
Evenly spread your berries throughout the batter without pushing or mixing them in. The batter will rise around the berries.
Sprinkle the remainder 1/4 cup of sugar evenly on top
Bake for 1 hour.

- 1 cup sugar + 1/4 cup for dusting
- 1 cup milk
- 4 Tablespoons melted butter
- 1 cup blueberry
