How to plan a birthday party on a budget
First pick out a estimated date and time.
you need to figure out a date that works best for you and your family. Of course you’d want it close to the actual birthday, but that may not be an available date. The Time is really important as well. If you choose a time between lunch and dinner, then you can get away without feeding your guest a whole meal! That will cut down on costs.
Second pick a location.
There are tons of free or cheap places you can choose from. Think about the time of year, if you want it inside or outdoors, and what kind of activates and decorations you will have. Check your local activity centers, parks, maybe even a family members home.
Third Pick a theme.
I’m sure you have already been thinking about this from the beginning, but now its time to nail it down. Think of your location and what’s on sale at this time. check your local Hobby Lobby because they have sales on party supplies off and on all the time.
Also plan on the activates. It can be as simple as blowing a bunch of balloons and letting kids play with them, or have them do a craft.
Forth Order/buy/make supplies.
Get all the decorations and order the cake or whatever else you need. You can even make a few decorations and the cake yourself to save some more! Don’t forget the essentials! You’ll need plates, fork/spoons, napkins and something to cut the cake with! Make sure to get a head count including kids so you can make sure to get enough without over doing it!
Fifth Decorate!
This is the fun part. Get creative! But always respect the buildings rules! If you can try to decorate the night before. This will help save time the next day.
Last have the party!
Set out your cake and goodies! Enjoy your hard work! Make sure to have fun at this party and thank everyone for coming.
What DO You Need For A Two Wild Birthday Party?
This birthday turned out so cute and everyone had a blast! Cute and simple was what I was going for! I wanted everything to be easy to find and cost effective so I ordered from amazon and shopped sales at Hobby Lobby and Joann’s Fabric store.
For this party I chose to have it at our local eclectic coop building because they have a nice large area for gatherings and a nice kitchen. They require a deposit, but if everything back to tiptop shape when we leave then they give us all the deposit back! Making this location Free!

First start with the gorgeous wooden print backdrop.
These colors where exactly what I was looking for so I got this balloon arch kit! This is the balloon arch I that purchased.
This can not be a Two Wild party without these super cute rose gold Two wild balloons. I love these because they are so simple to are up and I can use the T.W.O. Balloons for my younger child when she turns 2!
The Born to be wild banner completes this look! You can get it Here.

For the cake, I ordered it from a local cake baker. I provided these sprinkles for the cake and the cupcakes. Super sweet and simple!
I got the table cloth in a roll at hobby lobby along with the table runner. The plates where on sale that day at hobby lobby so I picked some of those up too.
Two Wild Birthday party outfit Outfit

For the outfit we had just bought a plain white shirt for my two cute girl. I had my mom put pink sparkly vinyl on her shirt that said “Two Wild”.
I had found some skirts on etsy, but they were out of my price range for one outfit. So I decided to make one myself. Or at least had my mom make it. I headed to Joann’s fabric store and instead of buying ribbon I bought small pieces of fabric. I got all different prints and types of fabric and tulle that to this project much cheaper then if we bought ribbon. My mom cut out fabric and sewed them on to elastic to make a skirt.
I had finished off this look with cute pigtails and leopard print bows. And of course Sweet baby girl picked out the perfect shoes and didn’t want to show up to the party without her Two Cool Shades.
This two wild birthday party was greatly inspired by another blog post I stumbled upon while looking for ideas for this party. checkout Two wild boho Chic Birthday post from the Mama Of Roses blog Here.
